The Albin Ballad is a fast, seaworthy cruiser-racer from the 1970s and has proved to be very safe and comfortable with excellent performance in both heavy weather and light airs. 'Outlaw' has been meticulously maintained throughout and comes complete with an extensive suite of racing sails. The sale of'Outlaw of Lundy' presents a rare opportunity to own a race-winning yacht.

Construction:

SSR registered, 'Outlaw of Lundy' has a solid GRP hull with lead ballast encapsulated into the keel. The deck is a GRP sandwich construction with a smooth inner skin, the interior roof finished in headlining. The mast is keel stepped and steering is by tiller (replaced in 2007) with extension to a skeg-hung moulded rudder.

'Outlaw' has been set up and maintained as a competitive race winning yacht, reflected in her results in recent national championships.

   All sails have been professionally cleaned and maintained throughout her present ownership.

Accommodation:

   Sleeps 6 in 2 cabins; double V berth in forepeak (with hatch) and hanging locker,

   Foward cabin and heads can be closed off using the hanging locker door.

   Additional under bunk storage. 2 single berths and 2 additional port and starboard

   pilot cots in main cabin. Under bunk storage accessed from above or through

   sliding doors, further storage drawers either side together with further fiddled

   storage below pilots berths. Standing room in main cabin. Internal upholstery is

   of UPVC throughout and in excellent condition. Considerable thought has been

   given to internal lighting with bunk lights in all berths, overhead halogen lighting in main

   cabin with strip lights in galley and navigation area.

   with ample chart storage, folding seat and night light,

Navigation/Electronics:

   'Outlaw' underwent major elecrical/electronic refit in 2005 which included the installation of 2 x 6 way switch panel.

Yanmar 1GM10 9hp Diesel (installed 1999) with control panel mounted in cockpit below companionway, last serviced 2007

2 x 12v 110 a/h batteries, alternator charged through 1, 2 or both isolating switch. Batteries are located in the port cockpit locker

Fuel/Water/Gas:

    Fuel capacity - 32 litres in stainless steel tank  -  Manually pumped fresh water system in galley   -  gas cylinder located in dedicated self draining     compartment in the starboard locker

Domestic Equipment:

  Galley with Plastimo Coral 2 ringed gas cooker with grill  -  Stainless steel sink  -  Space for cool box - Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils

Deck Equipment

   The spacious and uncluttered cockpit has ample seating with locker lids finished in teak. Both cockpit lockers are large enough to house both tender    and liferaft together with all warps and fenders etc.

   1 x Lewmar 2 speed 24 coachroof mounted winch - 1 x Lewmar 8 coachroof mounted winch -2 x Lewmar 40 single speed sheet winches

   2 x Lewmar 2 speed 16 winches - Control lines led aft via deck organisers and new coachroof mounted Barton clutches

   The current owner is retiring from sailing and therefore many spares will be included in sale of'Outlaw'. Some of the more notable additional items    are:

Comments/Improvements:

   No expense has been spared in the maintenance of'Outlaw', and this has been reflected in her performance in recent national championships. For    the serious club racer looking for a performance yacht this boat has to be high on the list.
